Hello Rapids!

Thanks to everybody who swam in the meet today! There was a lot of energy on deck, a lot of cheering, and a lot of great results!

A special congratulations to Coach Simon Bermudez, who set a GFST Pool Record of 30.40 (!) seconds in the 15-18 Boys 50 Breaststroke, breaking (his own) record of 30.88 set in 2021.

Reminders:

• Go to Schedule and Signup to sign up for:
  • Monday's B-Meet at Home against Poplar Heights. Reminder: A swimmer can swim 2 strokes + the IM, and they cannot swim a stroke they placed 1-3 in the previous A-Meet. We also need A LOT of volunteers.  So please sign up.
  • Wednesday's Relay carnival. We need everybody who can be available to be available.  This is a super fun meet. 
  • Saturday's A-Meet at Home against Home Run Acres.  Now would be a great time to go ahead and declare availability and volunteering for this too.  
• All of the Suits and Caps and Team Shirts and everything is here! And we want to give it to you. Stay tuned for when.  NOTE: Everybody get's a team T-shirt, including Mini's.  If you haven't picked yours up, you should!
• Tuesday: Laser Tag on the Green Beach!
• Friday: BOTH Fun Friday AND a Pot-Luck Pep Rally
