Hello Rapids!

Please find attached the Meet Results and updated ladder after our meet on Saturday against Waynewood.

Reminders/Notes: 

• Congratulations to Coach Simon Bermudez who broke his own 50m Breastroke record which he set earlier this season (also breaking his own record from last season) with a time of 29.13. 
• There were 24 best times at the Waynewood meet!
• Please sign up for the Intrasquad Meet!
  • The Intrasquad meet is important because it is the last chance for swimmers to improve on the ladder to make selections for Divisionals.  
  • Check out the Divisionals-101 page for more information about Divisionals. Seriously, do this. 
  • Timeline:
    • 4:45pm: Arrival for non-mini swimmers.
    • 5:00pm: Warm-ups
    • 5:30pm: Individual Medley
    • 5:45pm: Mini Arrival (but feel free to come earlier to watch the big kids swim the individual medley)
    • 6:00pm: Mini-Swim! All gathered around the pool to cheer on our Mini-Rapids!
    • 6:30-ish: Rest of meet progresses, starting with Free Style
    • After Fly: Fun relays while Reps put together updated ladder
    • Divisional Selections by Swimmers
  • There are no event limits! Swimmers can swim anything and everything they want to.
• There are practices this week for ALL SWIMMERS (including Minis!) whether you are swimming in divisionals or not!  This will be the last week of practices for the 2023 season.  
• Reminder about the Banquet on Saturday July 22nd.  If you haven't RSVPed, please do so.
• The Parent Meeting scheduled for Tuesday is being moved.  We made an "oops" and scheduled it during a Dive Meet.  Our apologies to the Dive Team for that.  It will be moved to Thursday.  Separate email on that shortly.
