Hello Rapids!

Great CLOSE WIN today against Rolling Valley!  We had 59 Personal Bests, and the entire meet came down to the last race, the Girl's Mixed-Age relay where the girls team of Jenna Wang, Sophia Daniels, Katelyn Rolph and Norah Kissinger sealed the victory with a 10 second win!  Great job to all the swimmers, it was a fun and exciting meet!

News and Notes for the next few weeks (There is a TON going on):

• Please find the Updated Ladder attached.
• Please sign up for the B-Meet @Poplar Heights on Monday Night
  • REMINDER: If your swimmer placed in the A meet yesterday, they are not eligible to swim that stroke in the B-Meet
  • REMINDER: Swimmers can ONLY swim 2 "regular" individual events (Free, Back, Breast or Fly) + the IM.  The ONLY way a swimmer can have 3 swims is if they swim the IM.  Due to league rules, if you have a swimmer registered in 3 or 4  "regular" events, we will remove them from events at random to meet the league rules. 
  • We still need a boatload of volunteers.  Please sign up!
• NO PRACTICE TUESDAY AFTERNOON due to a Dive Meet.
• Normal Practices for both the team and Minis Monday Morning - Thursday Morning, Fun Friday at 9:00 on Friday. 
  • Minis will practice at their normal times on Friday then can join the Fun Friday activities!
  • Afternoon Practices Wednesday and Thursday only.
• Set Availability for Relay Carnival and sign up for jobs NOW! There is no time like the present.  
• Pep Rally next Friday June 28th at 5:45, Buffet opens at 6:15.  Our last Pep Rally was a huge success! The theme is Hawaiian!  See the attached flyer for more information.  
• Set availability and sign up for jobs for the "A" meet on Saturday June 29th.  This meet is at home against Poplar Tree! Also, sign up for jobs!
• Social Event: The Rapids are going Bowling!  We will be going to Bowlero on July 12th from 5-7.  $15/bowler.  This includes bowling, pizza, shoe rental, arcade card and soft drinks.  It's the best deal in town.  
  • Go to The Team Store to buy your Bolero tickets!
• Team Picture!  The Team Picture will be on July 9th at 7:45am.
