Hello Rapids!

We had a great showing and a tight loss today against Poplar Tree.  We had a lot of great swims, and and another 47 Personal Bests!  Congratulations to all of our swimmers.

News and Notes:

• B-Meet Monday Night at Home against McLean Hamlet!
  • Please set your availability and select your strokes by 8:00pm Sunday Night. 
  • Reminder: 2 "regular" individual events + IM is the limit.  We will remove swims at random, so please pay attention to this.
  • Reminder: If your swimmer placed (1st, 2nd or 3rd) in the meet against Poplar Tree, they are not eligible to swim that stroke.
  • Volunteer!  We need a bunch of jobs filled.
• July 4th Float Decorating Sunday (tomorrow)!
  • 10:00am-12:30pm at the Baker's house, 10102 Minburn St. Great Falls, VA 22066
  • Please RSVP through Swimtopia so we have a headcount for donuts and beverages
• July 4th Parade!  
  • We will meet at the Baker's house for the parade (Time to be announced)
  • After the parade, we will meet back at the club for a cold, sweet treat.
• (Obviously) No Practice on July 4th.  
• Fun Friday!
  • Fun Friday on Friday July 5th.  Please sign up to Volunteer.
  • Practice will start at 9:00, followed by fun activity and breakfast.
  • Minis will practice at their usual time
  • PLEASE help clean up after Fun Friday

• Laser Tag during practice times on July 10th!
