Hello Rapids families! 

Happy Fourth of July week!

Big thank you to those who came out today to support the float building effort and to help plan for this week. We really appreciate the team family coming together for this important and super fun tradition!! 

Please see below for more important details on this week's festivities. 

FLOAT DECORATING: Wednesday, July 3rd from 6pm to 8pm at the Baker's

Now that the float structure is in place, it is ready to be decorated!! We have lots of banners, garland, flags and float fringe ready to be hung up. Join us on Wednesday evening for this fun and flare filled team effort! 

** Welcome supplies to lend to the effort: please consider bringing your own scissors and clear packing tape so more people can do more at one time **

JULY 4TH PARADE: Thursday, July 4th at 8:00 am at the Baker's (address above)

Please wear a Rapids t-shirt and plan to arrive to the Baker's no later than 8:00 am to gather for the float. We need this hour to arrange the kids safely on the float, appoint the banner walkers, and take our wonderful team pictures before we march in the parade. We have lots of fun USA flare to share with the kids for them to wear in the parade!! The fun USA flare will all be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Our vision this year is for everyone to be as decked out in patriotic flare as possible! Wear whatever you have to WOW the judges!! 

** Don't forget to bring a bag or two of candy for your child to toss into the crowd while they march in the parade ** 

Our float will line up with the other community floats for the parade at 9 am and the parade will begin at 10 am. 

After the parade, we will meet back at the club for some cold treats and our Club's Fourth of July Party! Don't forget to RSVP!  

GFS&T Party Details: Celebration fun starts at 11:30a.m., lunch buffet will be open 12:00p.m.-1:30p.m. Come mingle and swim, enjoy a live DJ, inflatable fun, and catering by Jersey Mike’s!!
