Rapids Family,

We are approaching the final days of this awesome swim season and we have some very important (non-swim meet related) reminders to share.

First, we hope that you will join us for Rapids Olympics tonight. This is a great opportunity to get an extra swim for some times on the ladder and for our team to come together for some relay fun. We will have delicious concessions offerings from BRX and Thelo Greek, as well as popsicles for sale on this hot day.

The Rapids theme this week is Shark Week. Bring out your shark flare and join in the fun!

Tomorrow, Tuesday July 9th is Team Picture Day. Please arrive at 7:45 AM at the pool in your Rapids bathing suit for a full team picture. Mini Rapids included! 

Wednesday, July 10th we will have laser tag on the Green Beach at the pool from 9:30 - 11:30 AM. Laser tag is open to all age groups and children can come up to play when their practice is over or before it begins. Anyone who participates in laser tag must have signed a waiver prior to playing, so please go ahead and fill out a waiver for yourself/your children now. https://form.jotform.com/241364941196158

Friday, July 12th we will have our last Fun Friday practice beginning at 9 AM with a pancake breakfast. Friday is also Rapids night at Bowlero in STERLING. Ticket sales in the Swimtopia store will close TONIGHT at 8 PM, so buy yours now!

Monday, July 15th is our Intrasquad meet. More details will be shared on the meet, but we also want to use this evening as a "Coaches Appreciation" night. We encourage you to use this evening to bring cards, sweet treats, or tokens of appreciation for your coaches and junior coaches. Let's make them feel loved for all the love they have put into this season!

Saturday, July 20th is our Rapids End of Year Banquet at GFS&T. The theme is Olympics - togas welcome! The Rapids will have the pool to ourselves from 6 PM - 10 PM and we'll enjoy swimming, dinner from Chuy's, drinks, dessert, a slideshow of memories from the season, and an awards ceremony. Please sign up to volunteer on Swimtopia if you can lend a hand with this event. We need photos from our Rapids season for the slideshow. Please ensure your child is featured and share your personal pictures from the season with us here by Sunday, July 14th.
