Hello Rapid Families!  

We're approaching our last full week of our 2024 season!  We can't believe the season is almost over.

Please find attached the updated ladder and the final results from our BIG WIN against Rolling Forrest!

Reminders about this last full week:

• Tomorrow (Monday July 15th)  is the Intrasquad meet!
  • Arrival: 4:45
  • Warmup: 5:00
  • Meet Start: 5:45
  • The meet will start with the Individual Medley (IM) at 5:45.
  • After the IM, we will have our Mini-Rapids Swim!
  • Everybody will be cheering for the Mini-Rapids Swim!
  • After the Mini-Rapids swim, the rest of the meet will be "normal (Free, Back, Breasstroke, Butterfly)
  • Swimmers can swim any and all events they choose.
  • VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT! For those swimmers who are at or near the top of the ladder, divisional selection will be IMMEDIATELY AFTER the meet concludes. It is STRONGLY encouraged for everybody to go read the Divisionals 101 page on Swimtopia, and then please ask us if you have any questions.
  • IF YOU ARE AT THE TOP OF THE LADDER AND WILL NOT BE AT INTRASQUAD please reach out to Mandy, Noelle or Shaq to provide your Divisional Preferences or contact information.  Divisional Selections will be finalized MONDAY NIGHT.  
  • Mini-families, if this is your first meet, it's a blast! Please see Caroline's email for more details about mini participation.  The Mini-Swim is always a highlight of the season! 
  • There are still plenty of jobs to sign up for.  Please sign up for jobs, we need everybody to pitch in because it's only us.
  • The Intrasquad is also Coach's appreciation night.  In addition to coaches Dylan and Jason, we have 16 Junior Coaches. Please show them a little extra appreciation on Monday in whatever way works for you.
• LAST CALL FOR PICTURES FOR  THE SLIDESHOW! Please click HERE to upload pictures and videos so they can be included in the year end slideshow.  
• Banquet:
  • The Swim Team Banquet is Saturday July 20th at 6:00pm
  • Please RSVP no later than Wednesday so we know how much food to order
  • EVERYBODY IS WELCOME! Mini-families, new families, it's a hoot!
  • We will be having good food, season ending awards, merriment, laughs and the year-ending slideshow.
  • We also rented a big fancy screen this year so the slideshow should really pop.
  • We need A BUCH of volunteers to help with the banquet.  Please go and sign up for a job.
