NVSL A-Meet @Sideburn Run Recap + Weekly Notes

Hello Rapids!
Lots going on. Please read this entire (long email) for a lot of information.
NVSL A-Meet @ Sideburn Run
- The Rapids had their biggest win of the season, defeating Sideburn Run 261–158!
- 41 personal bests were achieved—amazing job, Rapids!
- Special shoutout to Lucas Bermudez, Benjamin Bertin, Luka Beslic, Kyla Blaney, and Belle Walke for winning both of their individual events!
- It was an amazing team effort with everybody contributing!
- Updated ladder, final results, and personal bests are attached.
Relay Carnival – Wednesday, July 2nd (Home Meet!)
- Declare availability NOW in SwimTopia – entries close Sunday, June 29th at 11:30PM.
- Final relay lineups will be emailed late Monday night or Tuesday morning after the B-meet with Langley is over.
- Volunteers Needed:
- ~10 concession helpers (we run 2 stands!)
- Traffic control (assist with parking limits and guiding families from Safeway)
- Not sure what Relay Carnival is? Visit the Swim Meet 101 page – it’s a huge event with 240+ swimmers and their families!
End-of-Season Banquet
- RSVP in SwimTopia ASAP – final count needed for food planning.
- 114 RSVPs already in – please update your status whether attending or not.
- Submit photos for the slideshow via this Google Drive link (requires a Google account):

- Need help uploading? Search online or email: [email protected].
- Looking for photos of everyone – swimmers, minis, meets, practices, socials, etc.

B-Meet (Home) – Monday Night
- Volunteers Needed – please sign up:
- 3 first shift timers
- 6 second shift timers
- 1 second half stroke & turn official
- 3 concessions helpers
- Swimmers: Choose 2 strokes + IM in SwimTopia by 8:00PM Sunday.
- Reminder: If you medaled vs. Sideburn Run, you cannot swim that same event in the B-Meet
- avoid waste and extra costs!
Laser Tag – Rescheduled to July 7th
