Last Call for Team Suit - First Practice Begins June 1!

Dear Rapids Families,
Thank you to everyone who participated in our swim evaluations this week! We are excited to officially kick off the 2026 Rapids Swim Team season on Monday, June 1st.
Practice Groups & Schedule
Group 1 – Developmental (10 & Under)
Introductory stroke instruction with an emphasis on legal stroke technique.
- Swimmers are capable of completing laps without assistance.
- Swimmers are new to the sport and learning the basics.
June 18 – July 20: 8:30 AM – 9:15 AM
Group 2 – Intermediate (12 & Under)
Stroke technique development, introduction to harder training, and emphasis on race principles.
- Swimmers are able to complete all four strokes, along with flip turns and dives.
- Swimmers are familiar with the sport and have prior experience in practices and meets.
June 18 – July 20: 9:15 AM – 10:15 AM
Group 3 – Advanced (11 & Over)
Advanced stroke technique, increased training difficulty, and greater emphasis on race principles and competitiveness.
- Swimmers have significant experience in the sport and are ready for more challenging training.
June 18 – July 20: 10:15 AM – 11:30 AM

The first week of practice is always our busiest and most chaotic as swimmers, coaches, and families settle into the season.
